Motorola announces Moto G6, Moto E5 North America availability

Moto G6 official

Last month, Motorola introduced its latest range of affordable devices, the Moto G6 and Moto E5. Availability details were light at that time, but now Moto has come forward with more details.

Motorola has confirmed that the Moto G6 (above) will be sold in the U.S. by Verizon, TracFone, Tin, and Republic. Unlocked models will be offered by Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, Fry's, and B&H Photo. In Canada, the Moto G6 will be available from Videotron.

The Moto G6 Play will be making its way to the U.S., too, with Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless (Moto G6 Forge), Verizon, Virgin Mobile, and AT&T all planning to carry the phone. It'll also be offered by Republic, Ting, Best Buy, Target, Fry's, and B&H Photo. Canadians will find the Moto G6 Play at Bell Canada, Sasktel, Virgin Mobile, Videotron, and Freedom Mobile.

Unfortunately for anyone interested in the Moto G6 Plus, there's no mention of that model coming to North America.

Moto E5 Plus official

The Moto E5 Plus (above) will be coming to North America, though, and it'll be available from Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless (Moto E5 Supra), and Sprint.

The Moto E5 Play is North America-bound, too. It'll be sold by Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless (Moto E5 Cruise), Verizon, Virgin Mobile, Sprint, and Xfinity Mobile.

As for the Moto E5, there's no mention of it making its way to North America.

When it comes to specific pricing and launch timing, expect those details to be announced by the carriers in the coming months. Stay tuned and we'll update you with that info as we get it.
