Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ shown off in leaked renders

We're likely still at least a few months out from the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S9, but as is the case with many unannounced flagship smartphones, the rumor mill has come out with alleged images of the Galaxy S9 well before its release.

Several renders that claim to show the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have made their way online. Posted by @OnLeaks, 91mobiles, and MySmartPrice, these renders are based on factory CADs and are not official renders made by Samsung.

First up, the Galaxy S9 design doesn't look terribly different from the Galaxy S8. There's the Infinity Display with super slim bezels and curved edges, USB-C and 3.5mm headphone jacks on the bottom of the phone, a power/lock button on the right side, and a volume rocker and a Bixby button on the left side.

The one notable change is on the back of the Galaxy S9. Rather than have the fingerprint reader to the right of the rear camera like on the Galaxy S8, Samsung has moved it below the rear camera, which ought to make it much easier to reach and to discern from the rear camera module.

The design of the Galaxy S9+ is pretty much the same as the Galaxy S9. The S9+ has its rear fingerprint reader below its rear cameras, and yes, there are two rear cameras on the S9+ while there's only one on the S9. That lines up with a previous report about Samsung's upcoming flagships.

Other details that are rumored for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ include 4GB of RAM for the S9 and 6GB for the S9+, 64GB of storage, microSD card slots, and AKG stereo speakers. The S9 is once again expected to have a smaller display than the S9+, and it's possible that the two phones will be powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 845 processor.

What do you think of the S9 and S9+ shown in these leaked renders?
