Google Pixel XL hands-on video

Hurricane Harvey hit Houston hard, flooding homes and killing many people. Folks affected by Harvey will be feeling the affects of the storm for years, but Google is working to make things a little better for Pixel owners.

Google is partnering with uBreakiFix to offer free Google Pixel repairs to owners affected by Hurricane Harvey. Pixel owners simply need to visit one of seven participating Houston-area uBreakiFix shops by September 30th to get their device repaired.

The seven locations offering free Pixel repairs are:

  • The Heights
  • Rice Village
  • Pearland
  • Pasadena
  • West Chase
  • Sugar Land
  • Webster

For many folks, the smartphone is one of the most important things that they own, holding all kinds of personal information, important photos, and more. Considering how much the people affected by Harvey have to deal with, it’s good to see Google and uBreakiFix coming together to make it so that Pixel owners don’t have to worry about paying to get their phone fixed or replaced.
