Google integrating pollen forecast data into search results

Google pollen forecast data

Google is now rolling out an improved search experience that’ll please those folks that battle seasonal allergies.

Google today revealed that it’s integrating pollen index and forecast data directly into its search results. This information is pulled from The Weather Channel and includes a five-day forecast to help you plan for the pollen you’ll encounter in the coming days.

Additionally, Google says that you can receive reminders in the Google app when the pollen count in your area is particularly high. Just search for pollen levels or pollen forecast and tap “Turn On” when you see a prompt asking if you’d like to receive notifications.

This is a nice addition to Google’s search tools. Pollen allergies are a pain for a lot of people, but this pollen forecast information makes it super easy and fast to see what the pollen is like now and what it’ll be like in the near future.
